).

DIRTY SOUTH
His remixing credits read like an honour role of dance music’s finest, having reworked revered artists such as Depeche Mode, Mark Ronson, Tracey Thorn, Snoop Dogg, Roger Sanchez, Josh Wink, Tiësto, Chris Lake, Fedde Le Grande, Ferry Corsten and TV Rock. In 2007 many of the productions and collaborations have earned Dirty South numerous ‘Essential New Tune’ gongs from Pete Tong. Some of those productions include his anthemic chart-topping tune “Let It Go†released on Axtone and a more tech-house offering “Minority†on the UK imprint Toolroom Records. In 2008, Dirty South teams up with house genius Axwell to produce the track ‘Open Your Heart’ and also an outstanding version of The Doors ‘The End’ While his productions go from strength to strength, Dirty South continues to excel in the DJing department. He’s toured the world, gigging throughout Europe, the UK, UAE, Canada and the USA and playing massive festivals across Australia including Ultra Music Festival, Creamfields, Global Gathering, Good Vibrations, Future Music Festival, Summadayze and many others

Be.
Nightclub. Lounge. Studio
A brand new, low lit underground venue located at the foundations of Commerce street.
Opening this May, Be will be taking weekends back to what clubbing is all about. One room, resident DJs and a real focus on clubnights. The events we do play host to from time to time will be select, and our international guest DJs carefully chosen to fit in with the direction of the club itself.
The goal? To create a club that grabs you. To generate an environment where guests are provided with quality music, drink selection, staff and atmosphere. It’s about being amongst like minded people in a place where you can leave your inhibitions at the door and spend the night - whether it’s on the dancefloor, tucked away in a private seating booth, having a drink at the bar or enjoying the cool night air in the outdoor courtyard.
Founded on the concept it is literally what you want it to be, Be is what you make of it.
Along with the club, Be is home to an in-house, state of the art recording studio so the music will be as upfront as it comes. This new facility offers comprehensive audio production in a professionally designed and purpose built studio, being both set up and run by British import Dick Johnson.
Be isn’t about being flashy and in your face – think a dimly lit basement with brick walls, interesting wallpapers and neutral colours. You won’t see things like a VIP room, giant sparkly chandeliers or a huge, extravagant cocktail list; instead a concise selection of beverage choices with a well understood balance of flavours, and décor that is understated but modern. Be is about keeping it simple and uncomplicated.
