We'd like to congratulate Mike Koglin for breaking into the DJ Top 100 2008

Making a tremendous heap from #181 to #87, Mike has made his debut entry into lofty ranks of the world's best DJ's in 2008. Placed in illustrious company alongside The Chemical Brothers and Mauro Picotto, Mike leaves a remarkable list of of big names behind him. It seems that his hard work in the studio, his monthly radio show on DI.fm and a relentless touring schedule has paid off and the DJ Top100 2008 shows just how much Mike's name has been growing in popularity over the last 12 months.

This year the man behind classic trance anthems such as The Silence or Touch Me has released a host of banging remixes such as Sequentia - Vertigo, Sasha Virus - Galaktika, Arcane Science - Twisted Intent or of course his infamous take on Coldplay - Viva La Vida, all of which have enjoyed massive support from top DJ's such as Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Paul Van Dyk, Above & Beyond or Markus Schulz to name but a few. Mike's critically acclaimed releases on uber labels Anjunabeats and Spinnin and his own label Noys Music plus a forthcoming album on SoundLab Records, compiled and mixed by Mike, demonstrate that he's certainly one of the producers to watch out for in electronic dance music right now. He's backed this up by a storming series of monthly shows down the length of the trans siberian railway in Russia as well as gigs in China, Indonesia, Ukraine, Poland, Germany and many more. We believe his #87 ranking shows Mike's star is truly in the ascendency with a growing fan base, great dj gigs and increasing profile worldwide.

You can see Mike in action over the next 2 months in Moscow (Russia), Kharkov (Ukraine), London (UK), Kishinev (Moldova), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Bali (Indonesia), Kirov (Russia), Club Circus L.A. (USA) before embarking on his Australia/NZ tour over Christmas, ending with a huge NYE performance in Aukland, NZ. On February 13th Mike will make his 8th re-appearance in the main room at The Gallery @ Ministry of Sound.
