Midnight Callers......

Hehe - Do you switch your cell phone off at night or change it to silent? I never do, simply because if there is an emergency and someone needs to get hold of me then they can......

And.....I never complain (ok sometimes) if someone does ring or text and it wakes me up, because it\'s my choice to have my phone on Haha - for instance I got a lovely phone call at 4.30am this morning!!!! Hmmm...

What do you do?? I find that most people leave their phones on......

i called my fried at 1am,3am,5am, 8am one acidic night...we really wanted him to come out with us.

he wasn\'t impressed, but kept on leaving his phone on, too bad i say..

i only turn it to silent on Saturday nite cos sunday is my only decent sleep in day but other than that my cell is on 24/7 i use it as an alarm so i cant put it on silent but i have no friends so i got no probs bout ppl ringing me anyway

Thats true Moo! I leave my phone on because I have had a few emergency calls from certain people. ALthough there is nothing more annoying than a call ar 3am from your wasted buddies : )

i leave mine on all the time, only goes to silent when it has to but never off, unless battery is run out.....
but good if someone needs to get hold of you, i can sleep thru it and sometimes it might be worth gettin out of bed.......

Actually if you have a nokia you can put your phone on silent and the alarm will still go off

i ususally leave my phone on, but recently have just left it on the single beep for both calls and texts

yeah emergency call to pick up mates from hospital, once was enough but good that they can get hold of you

apart from the fact that i drowned it at the gathering and wont have it back for a week! i normally leave it on all the time.

I also figure that if I\'m asleep and my phone rings and I don\'t wake to it then I obviously need the sleep and am not supposed to talk to that person for whatever reason. If I wake up (like this morning at 3.30) then I am meant to speak to the person..... Hehe

I leave my fone on all of the time.... except when I\'m really tired after a big nite out.

Hopefully there will be no big emergencies in the middle of the day.

I pretty much leave it on all the time. I won\'t answer it if I don\'t want to, but you have the option like others have said - \"just in case\".

Mines always on and fortunately I have only ever had few wasted 4.30 callers that have woken me, I generally just sleep through it .

mines always on a silent beep for txt messages, cant stand ppl that have the VERY loud BEEP BEEP for a message recieved, sometimes its louder than the incomming call tones

haha.. I\'m actually more likely to answer the phone at 3am than I am at 9am. Strange, but true. Morning phone calls are a sin at my house and if I ever answer the phone in the morning, I make sure the caller realises it.

Most of the time though the \'emergency\' is often friends that for some reason have become stuck somewhere and need a ride. Don\'t mind if their straight up about it... its what friends are for.

Don\'t you HATE private numbers though - I\'m too curious, I just have to answer it even though 9 times out of 10 it\'s like the bank telling me my credit card is well over it\'s limit......again! Eeek!

To save the problem of not having to answer to certain people I just tend to only give my number to people I am happy to answer to!

But I do tend to leave my phone in another room and miss calls

Always leave it on! Infact even with I have it on silent, I can still hear calls and text messages come through as it makes my stereo make a funny dit, tadit, tadit noise!

Was happily texting my girlfriend in england and before I knew it my inbox was full, like 30 texts from her, which meant that I had sent the same amount to her - theres $6.....

Hmm i leave mine turned on but it takes a train through my room to wake me, although somwetimes texte do im usually dazed and confused read the message delete it and fall asleep again to find a pissed of mate in the morning cause i forgot who had text me.

Texts on the other hand are just fickin annoying, especially the people who can text everyone on thier lists at once. If you can\'t text me personally, then I don\'t want to be part of a spam text.

As soon as you invest in some o/s calling to friends in far away places (done generally on a twisted morning) the bill does seem to climb. I am still trying to pay a bill off from 4 months ago. Went crazy for a couple of months, didn\'t make a payment and found myself staring doen the barrel of a $1600 phone bill .... eekK! Ahhh well it was a fun couple of months ~ and I don\'t look back regretting it.
