Microsoft Sharepoint services

We've got a client interested in having a secure area of their website for the purpose of using Sharepoint services to collaborate on documents.

Has anyone had any experience in integrating a secure area such as this? Is it difficult to configure and administrate? Bearing in mind I have absolutely no knowledge of ASP .NET.

Yeah just installed SBS2K3 on a client's server... noooo idea how to use it to its potential... very interested in learning about it tho 'cause collaboration always interests management and sales force...

Hehe, this reminds me of the guy who used the embedded shared document change tracking in Microsoft documents like press releases (which they were too incompetent to remove) to see all the comments on why things should be changed.

i would be very surprised if you had to do any coding in any language to get a secure area where people can log into when using sharepoint services. the whole point of buying something like that is so you don't have to develop it yourself. isn't it?

does anyone know of a host in NZ who could provide this service?
