Metro College closed down

Was this a good thing?
Any of you guys go there?

Yeah, saw the pic on the front page of the Herald today.

I didn't go there, but I think its bad. If it was offering some form of education to people who otherwise wouldn't have had it, then it was good.

Is this thread just an attempt to get them biggie slipmats Gedda? Never mind, I'll post anyhow..

i think its bad, i knew heaps of people that just wouldn't have gone to any school if it wasn't for metro. for whateva reason: could get accepted anywhere else, would get into trouble for smoking etc.... sure, if you wan't to you could slack off there, but the teachers did care about the students and if they wan't to learn they could there. they had heaps more respect for the students than any other school.

it definatly is a shame... where are those deviants gonna go now?
(not saying there's anything wrong with deviants...)
