I'm trying to find someone to take over the lease of my one bedroom apartment in Queens Road, Melbourne (obviously) its quite a big place and it aint the ritz it was one of the best ones that I could find! It's $165 week.

How much time left on the lease?

Moving out to Blackburn South to my boyfs place, buying a car... need to get outta the city and save some cash cause have a trip around the world to pay for next year!! YEAH!

So... if you hear of anyone looking let them know!! Its a really cool place and pretty cheap for around that area.

I like my back yard with plum, apricot, and fig trees tooo much.
Not to mention my herb garden.

Hell no, St Kilda is the only place for me... Acland St towards (Prince End) is the best location in town no doubts... beach, bars and shops

I didn't think melbourne had a beach? I thought it was jsut a big sandpit with a bit of muddy water?

hee hee! Yeah, St Kilda Beach ain't that flash... but it is only walking distance from my place as is Ackland Street and all those great spots... Still looking for someone to take over my lease...

I hate waves... waves suck... I like to think of St Kilda as a lagoon... house parties on the backs of launches, dinner at Stokehouse, pre drinks at Robarta or Saint and then on wards... the perfect place to live...

I hate salt water...what's the point in swimming at beaches without waves???

I work on Queens rd at Numba 10 on level 16 and we get the bestest view of the grand prix for free! Dont try and cross queens rd thou...bloody scary!

sweet moving to Melbourne on the 15th and need to find somewhere to live ...

Im sure all the above will be very usefull to me when i get there..but at the moment means nothing to me...

if anyone knows of any Rooms or places to live around that time your help would be very much welcomed as I know noooooooooooooooo one over there .........

I will share some advice i wish someone told me, you need one months rent PLUS one months bond before you can move in and most places want a 12 month lease...go share housin other wise you get kinda trapped and have to fork out mad cash...also they advertise one price then you go and they say "oh thats per calendar month...thne wack more on it!" so ask that FIRST! You should look on www.realestate.com.au cos then you dont get lost or turn up to utter dumps....they are a plentiful! I looove my house now..its a mad warehouse in Nth melb and we go NO NEIGHBOURS and two bthrms and spa....j

12 Month leases are annoying, but most real estate agents are pretty cool if you find someone to take it over, but if you are flatting with other people then its not a problem at all because they hold the leases... go to:

Check out the rentals on these, they tend to advertise the per month cost, not per week so its all correct information, they also have people looking for flatmates...
