Mechanic for regular Toyota servicing

Hey, I need a mechanic for the 120,000k service for my 2003 Corolla. Toyota say it costs $450. Anyone know a decent mechanic where I can get a competitive quote? I'm in Johnsonville but I work in the city.

Autostop in J/Ville. Seem to be pretty good from what I've heard. They're next to BP.

Thanks Jeff. I called 'em up, price is going to be about comparable, little more, little less, depending on what they decide to do. I might as well go to Toyota who must know the Corollas like the back of their hands.

My cousin Ron owns Motordrome up Cuba Street in the city, they are good, well priced and don't rip you off.

Thanks J. I don't even know what needs to be done to the thing. There's apparently a decent list of things that Toyota says needs to be done to them at 120,000km. I remember Toyota saying a couple of filters are changed, air and fuel maybe, plus all fluids are changed and/or topped up. Do all garages have this list, or is there a standard list of things that should be done?

I figure Toyota probably aren't a heck of a lot more expensive than other places, might as well get it done by the experts.

Cambelt also?

Motordrome do a bronze, silver and gold service. So you'd be looking at the Gold, by the sounds of things. Includes everything you said. Get the Cambelt checked too...

Sounds like you just need a decent service, Im pretty sure its standard for all cars.
