I think u'll find Tim isn't phased by whether he wins or loses, as his style is consciously directed more at the crowd than at his opponent. Admittedly that disposes him more to hosting battles etc. rather than dominating them, which is a skill much more uncommon (and in my opinion valuable) than punch-line generation. Problem is he's the most unpredictable person I've ever met, which might even give him an edge... (?) Why would u not let him enter? He'll be right up there and most importantly won't disappoint fans of the Battle. Oh - and by the way, Queenstown ain't his hometown, althought I do recall Scribe losing to T-Minus in S's hometown Christchurch in the 2002 MC1... Hold the championship in Coromandel and u'll see how it goes...

P.S. If Tyna competes, I don't want to see him rhyme "behind the bar" three f****** times in one battle. Him beating Juice1 was the most corrupt shit I ever saw.

why would i not let him enter...??....the last time he entered a battle in chch was 2 years ago there are others that take presidence over him...as for being unpredictable sure that would tend to give you the edge, not if your spitting to the crowd though...

Heh i was up in auckland recording with tyna in the weekend, on the thursday we were in hamilton at the lyricist lounge that tynez runs...ill tell yah bro...tynas bar none the best freestyler in new zealand at the moment..

I'm not quite sure what sorta beef u have here, but I suggest u chill a little. Obviously u and I differ in opinion, which is quite alright wit me. Seems unfortunate if ur battle is going to be won wit premeditated punch lines. I haven't heard Tyna battle in a while, but a year or so ago I doubted that even half of his shit was freestyling, even if I do want to hear about nut sacks and sick panel-van antics. Anywayz I'm not going to argue wit u, this is a forum and we just disagree. Simple as that.

Oh yes ur right Scribe and Signifier were in the "final"...in fact, I seem to remember the judges creating an extra round so that Scribe wouldn't miss the championship. Are we trying to see fair battles or sell records??

Of course u shouldn't hold the battle in coromandel.
