Maya and Vanya are a sister duo, originally from Croatia, who have based themselves in Auckland and are doing their thing at various banquets and shindigs around the country.
With their eclectic and fun sets teamed with a vast knowledge of music the duo are quickly establishing themselves as in demand DJ's, playing their unique blend of upfront Jackin’ House, Indie Disco, and Tech-House along with their own special edits/live re-edits and great stage presence which always gets the dancefloor moving.
The sisters have a weekly residency at Aucklands freshest new venue Cassette9 and can be seen regularly at the Onelove and Ministry of Sound events. They have also played at some of the countries top festivals and club nights in and out of Auckland such as Rhythm & Vines, Matakana, Slinky, Nite:Life, Highlife, Electric, Torque and Signature Sounds where they have supported internationals such as Carl Cox, Digitalism, Fort Knox Five, Justin Martin, A-Trak, Busy P, Dj Mehdi and local talent Ladyhawke, Katchafire, Recloose and Magik Johnson among many others.
They also run their own monthly night 'The Thursday Night Tea Party' with various guests each month playing cutting edge & alternative electronica.
