Matakana - Highlife 2010 - VIP Upgrade

So I went along to Matakana NYE 2010 this year and thought overall the event was fairly well organised and set up.

I do however have a bit of an issue with the overpriced $100 VIP upgrade. The selling point for myself getting a VIP upgrade ticket with my girl was the following; 4 free drinks, hair and make up touch-up (which made it sound like it was free and didnt specify that there would be a $40 cost for this), access to a VIP tent area, free parking (which we didnt use and i'm sure most of the people in the VIP tent didnt use judging by how off their chops most of the tent was), and last but not least, access to corporate toilets that you didnt have to queue for! Well, I had to queue several times to use them and my partner advised me that the water in the ladies toilets stopped working so they had to use the portaloos out in the other areas.

Just curious to see how others felt the night went and if anyone else thinks the VIP upgrade is overpriced for what you get (or dont get, in this case).
