Hailing from Whakatane, this singer/songwriter gives the listener a
taste of her gentle yet majestic voice that captivates audiences worldwide in this, her first solo release. With her brother JJ on the guitar,
each song brings a different flavour of their unique sound combining
Te Reo Maori and conscious lyrics.
Together with top New Zealand producers, Simon Halloway
and Mahuia Bridgeman-Cooper, Maisey has developed a
poetic sound scape of folk, soul and easy listening.
Songs on her EP include her breakthrough YouTube
introduction 'Children of Romania' (90,000 views),
a song based upon orphaned children in Romania.
