Remeber Union is dead in NZ not in SA at all. We still attrack 20-30K people to most games and even more to the Currie Cup games

Fail to see why they shouldn't at least try and make some money from it.

Personally I think we need to filthy yaya's more than they need us. A super comp with just us, aussie teams and possibly random Pacific/Argentine/w-e would be incredibly lame......... and we would be better off going back to championing our own NPC

Doing this would also romanticise (for lack of a better word) the Tri Nations because the Bok players would be that much more foreign and therefore interesting to us. Im not 100%^ sure on this but I have an idea te Super and Tri nations deals are linked / co dependant though...... so not sure if scuppering one means losing the other

This expansion talks are mostly around another franchise in Australia.

Thats what I mean by saying it is pointless. Especially that they're proposing this franchise in Victoria, where people don't even know what Union is.

Then Tew brought up the fact that extra franchise can come from NZ! Even more ridiculous suggestion.
