Mag Wheel Security

So what do you guys recommend as the best form as mag security, i know there are lock nuts, but what else is there?

Also are some lock nuts better than others?

you would probably be after some titanium based ones (cant be drilled) you also can some with a locking keys.

I have lock nuts on mine and 'nut' cover that is allen keyed on ... so it would take someone a very long time to get them off.

An alarm with very sensitive tilt sensors aswel would be a good bet

Mate had a Toad alarm with tilt sensor - apart from the fact that his car was too low for a standard scissor jack to fit under it, we tested it once and the car body barely moved 1cm before it went off.

the suck thing is i already have an alarm, but the current one doesnt have tilt sensors and i cant add them on

How much are the titanium ones?

If you have dual imobilisers and some extreme lock nut/lock nut lock as you mention, does it make it nigh-on impossible for thieves to pinch ya wheels?

if you get airbags installed in your car you can get a kill switch on the compressor so when you park the car you dump the chasis pretty much on the ground so even if they get into the car and turn the engine on she is basically undriveable, also they cant get a jack under the car either

of course you'd then have to live with ur car handling like its floating on mashed potatoes....

Yeah cause a wheel brace will rip alot of em off..

lol $6k is quite a bit, I hooked up my last customer who had a 92 3series bmw with airbags which was also upgraded so it could ride on 3 wheels for only $4200.
As long as you dont drive with them low as hell they drive quite nicely
