Mac Games

Does anyone know of any stores in Auckland that sell Mac compatible games? Or any decent games for Mac?

World of Warcraft is pretty much your only option till Diablo 3 comes out.

The idea is that you don't play games and spend your time using the mac being creative and networking.

"Oh, is that a Mac?"
"Yes, it's the new model"
"How would you feel about a lucrative creative position?"

Crossover Pro? (no idea how it would handle games)

Know many who have tried and given up. Apple aren't putting any effort into the video drivers in Windows, so graphics performance is well below what it is in OSX. Then you have to consider what GPU the machine has anyway. Some are quite lowly in gaming terms.

Doing it in Crossover is VERY hit and miss, especially since most modern Windows games reply pretty heavily on the latest DirectX stuff.

The next hurdle is buying games in a retail store. That's an almost dead business model. Just buy online.

Plants vs Zombies has an OSX version though! Go play that! :>
