yea get a gigabyte, has always been a good range for me Smile

my asus board is nearly 1 1/2 years old still goin hard but my computers been a little dodgy lately....

all manufacturers have dodgy boards just because one failed doesnt mean the manufacturer is crap.

Ive lost a seagate WD and samsung hdd in the past 2 years also a maxtor and IBM (40gig deskstars ARE dodge tho) before that.

Power supply is a big factor to consider too - im amazed at how often my power conditioner clicks in and i run all my good stuff on it now.

yea its just luck really. im yet to have any hardware fail though, even my 486 and pII are still goin hard Wink

err there was that one gigabyte board for my athlon but that was a slight mishap with a screwdriver Rolling Eyes
