As you may well guess... i'm looking into promoting an event... which i dislike at the best of times...but i'm interested on the feedback...

Whats you're preferred music choice when you're going out? drumnbass, breaks, techno, decent non-gay house. I find that sets made up of house/techno with smatterings of breaks, electro, kraut & disco seem to go down a treat

Are you more likely to go out and support Kiwi djs or prefer to hit the big names? would a mix of both be even better? Big names play all the time over here. I'd put more effort into supporting Kiwi DJs.

What do you think is a reasonable price for a event? It would depend on venue, who's playing, etc. A tenner would be a ballpark to start off with.

That's a good question. I'm a night bus whore, but that's generally because my hand is forced since I can't be bothered paying the £30 cab ride back to Balham from Angel/Farringdon etc. Given the opportunity, I could be up for the early start/early finish gig.

Really prefer hip hop, funk, downbeat, would love to know of some good venues here for this. Used to love heading to Khjua in Auckland.
