hi all
some news for those who miss london, or need some stories to read while procrastinating at work on a monday, or those who love danny rampling..
had another wicked saturday night at turnmills - was danny, ricky montanari, ricky morrison, norman jay, & lottie.
danny played a great set - real groovey to start, left you smiling in anticipation of a big build up..
and it just launched off... quite progressive trancey at the end even..
(for those not sure danny rampling usually plays good funky house - plays on radio 1 friday nights uk time)
was still a bit commercial (i guess lots of the tracks were sing-a-long numbers) - but fun to watch the londoners closing their eyes and singing along dreaming of loved up days in ibeffa - (say it with an accent!)
best moment was when he played depeche mode - 'i feel loved' (may have been the danny t mix)
the man was good lots of cutting up and playing with the tracks and the crowd...

another beautiful moment was about 1.30 in the chill out room when they turned the lights up - and played 'here comes the sun' by george 'beetle' harrison, his death has been sad news over here this week, and it was so beautiful to have his song played we all sang along and thought of sunshiney days.
it's a lovely pop song - try and remember it if your'e sad and it'll cheer u up, thinkin about tomorrow.
'here come's the sun and i say it's alright.'

lots of love to the nz biggies
ally xx

p.s. hope GC at sub 9 and welli fevah rocked 4u - i'm sure it would have!!
