Yes, cheesy at it sounds, wouldnt it be nice to have a London Biggie meet. Maybe we could all have lunch/drinks or something or even a night out (after New Years). A lot of us know each other already over here but no harm in meeting more like-minded people is there!

What do you guys think?

:o)
[quote]
Sounds good...it would be cool to hang out with some even tempered kiwis for a change, rather than manic brits....!!

Keen! Very Happy
[quote]
Ok. Well I'll officially be the organiser then! After NYE would be best I reckon cos then everyone will be back from holidays...if they are taking any.

I'll keep an eye out for things that are on in January. List your music preference in this post to give me an idea of what would suit. If you can, list more than 1 choice...so I can try and satisfy everyone.

Why so funny? Are you going to tell me, or are you going to leave it all wrapped up in layers and let me figure it out? Confused

Suggestion: The Fridge's closing party - LOGIC Fri 30th Jan.

Lets get as many biggies there as poss!
[quote]
Yeah, could be keen for that! Why is Fridge closing by the way?? I can get us all on the gueslist too...but I'll need to confirm names in advance. :o)
[quote]
Nobody I know seems to know the whys and wherefores - not even Steve Hill. Did you know that Camden Palace is being sold too? and their last confirmed gig is Heat in late Feb... (this from Steve)

Do you have my number Domino? Thinking of perhaps having pre-drinks at mine as I'm only 10 minutes walk from there... Has this forum had a rollcall yet?
[quote]
Yeah - its a bit of a pattern... Fevah UK closed all operations recently cos they just weren;t really getting the numbers, maybe the Fridge and Camden Palace have been suffering from the same problem...? Once everyone's heard the tunes that Oonst Oonst Oonst, then they all turn to house? Laughing
[quote]
theres a good chance it could be drug related...?? like gatecrasher was
i imagine a club in brixton would have a pretty high profile along those lines..?
[quote]
Tony....whats your ph number? I dont have it.

As for clubs closing cos of low numbers. I think that its only because its winter. I for one know that in winter I go out fuck all! I've been out clubbing twice since October! In summer I go heaps more.
[quote]
I think I'm gonna be at godskitchen birmingham for sasha on Jan 30th Sad
[quote]
Domino: 0781 009 2269. Its Nikolai - you do remember who I am? Met you one night with Steve and Greenie in a pub up Neal St efore we went to The End. Email: yougottastrut@yahoo.com.au

JezNZ: Sasha will come again. The Fridge is closing.
[quote]
Tonymanero....of course I remember you babe!!! So far it looks like its just you and me going!

so very very tempting... unfortunately a host of problems arise.
i have to get the night off work, and be back in time for work the next day, ryanair doesn't have any cheap flights for the 30th and 31st, i'd have to find a place to stay and i have to pay over 1300 pounds in accomodation fees the day before so i'll have no money!!!

believe me i'd love to come along... esp to meet other biggies (i don't know many at all). but unfortunately i'm gonna have to skip this one.
