London accommodation?!?

There is just so much choice I don't know where to start!

We need a clean, reasonably priced hotel room with easy access to transport.

I also need some help with location.

Any ideas are appreciated

there isn't a budget!!

We were looking to stay with a friend but she's currently between flats.

but as nothing is free I think GBP60 - 85per night? (NZD150-215per night).

When are youse going?

gunna be there in June... what about you?

I plan to be there from the first week of June Excellent, we'll have a nice little catch up

cool! will def organize to see everyone while we are there. we'll be there in the last week of June for a week.

Can anyone give me a run down on these areas to stay in.

Paddington
Kensington

p.s. after having a look at what is on offer perhaps we'll need a bigger budget.

I have found one I quite like located at Victoria station. Is this a good location?

Victoria is a transport hub so it's easy to get to and from, quite central and a good location. I'd recommend it.

id say you want to make sure your close to an underground station otherwise its to hard for you to get around!

Any where on the central, victoria, northern or circle line would be good!

no worries, managed to fend it off for this long but i have my first london cold so im literally living on the couch and pooter this weekend so was happy to have a search around for you!

Personally though I'd avoid the ones in Acton and Hammersmith, simply because of the area You'll want to be as central as possible, and these two (esp Acton) are a bit far out.

Yeah avoid Acton at all costs Hammersmith is fine but yeah a bit far out. Premiere Inn in County Hall sometimes do some great deals. As far as location goes you can't really go wrong either. Right by the London Eye. You might consider moving round a bit whilst in London too to take advantage of certain deals for certain nights

Ok found somewhere that is reasonably affordable and isn't falling apart (LOL).

It's located 3 mins from Victoria Station.

I just can't get over the price of a crappy 3 star hotel in London - LOL.
