Was trying to install Civ5 today and had this pop up when I virus-checked the ISO:



So went to google to look for the name of that virus to see what's up: Inject.LPOIWUT

There's your first mistake... Civ 5 is terrible, stick to Civ 4.

Oh I was actually wondering that... I read a couple reviews and they were pretty glowing of 5 and the graphics looked better.. I haven't played any of them for about 10 years though. Howcome 5 is terrible?

They've improved the combat side immensely, but they've reduced the empire management side so much that it's not really Civ anymore. It's more of an Age of Empires type game now rather than Civ which has always been about balancing military, economy, science, population etc. It's nice to start because it's so pretty and combat is improved with but it doesn't take long to lament the loss of all the depth in empire management.

Basically they've dumbed it down.

I liked civ5 but it was a departure.

FML so tired... Was up until 6:15am playing Civ4 hahahaha. Damn I forgot how awesome this series is

I'm instituting a no week night rule, it's just too eay to just keep doing that next thing and then I'll go to bed.
