Local Producers

OK we got our favourite local djs... but what about local producers? I dont know about anyone else but I get a special kick out of hearing local stuff being spun. I think NZ djs should be playing more NZ stuff, especially since the quality of some local tunes has been right up there lately. I remember when Mateo and Matos dropped Subware.. made the place go crazy!

I think that there would be more NZ tunes out there to play if there was a company that specialized in Vinyl cutting for Dj's/Producers that want there stuff pressed, cheaply (eg one off's, small amounts etc). Would be nice... I know I'd definately use it!

im with ya on that.. man .... I think kog can arrange it but they (i think) they only do lots of 1000 ?? ... ill have to talk with evan from CC dawn and ask him what sort deal he managed

if you want cheap pressings and small amounts, go the geraldine way. Theres a guy down there who does lathe cuts, its on acetate so its a bit thinner, but still 12" records are like $10 a unit with a minimum of 20 units. Very cheap.
King Records is the name of the company. This guy will press any thing on any format.
