Local DJs

Been listening to a bunch of the local DJs and I feel they don\'t play enough classic house or disco.
Also was woundering who are the deepest DJs around auckland, who try to experiment/have some balls when they play sets. Just feel that the sets are all predictable, no twisits or turns between music genres and times. Educate the crowd with a good mix of the hottest releases and the classics-put down some james brown and shit.
went to lightspeed did\'nt feel pooley or johnson, to hard for my likeings, really was feeling a DJ upstairs in a small bar type area playing old school disco cuts and deep house, would be keen to know who it was and to see them again.

flavourflav - try having a listen to Gavin S up at sponge on ponsonby road on a thursday and/or friday.

he has alot of fun withhis sets, and tends to go very disco-ey and including old school clasics, bit of hip hop, breaks, 2 step, scratching etc. all in one set.

give it a go of you are after something different. the fact that sponge is ALWAYS packed on a thursday and friday nites is a good indicator.

he has fun and so does the crowd!
