Entering Maya is like stumbling through a portal into a parallel universe – a world of bright lights, exotic carvings and funky music. Named after Buddha's mother – Maya has the most advanced lighting system in Australasia.
The unique dance floor lighting system Colorkinetics is currently used only in a few places in the USA. The interior sculptures, modelled on the magnificent Angkor Wat temples of Cambodia, maintain a Wellington flavour – the carved sculptures were designed by the internationally acclaimed Weta Workshop team.
