YES FOLKS AFTER 9 YEARS GRACING HAMILTON'S HOOD STREET, HAMILTONS FOUNDER OF FUNK THE LIQUID LOUNGE HAS BEEN SOLD WITH A NEW NAME & DIRECTION FROM EARLY FEBRUARY 2006.

SO THIS SATURDAY WE WILL BE CELEBRATING & REMEMBERING ALL THE GOOD TIMES.

A MASSIVE LINE-UP OF ALL LIQUIDS FAVOURITE DJ'S WILL BE HAVING A BIG BACK 2 BACK MASH-UP FROM 9PM AS WELL AS SPECIAL GUESTS MC ROLEX & JACOB NOOYEN LIVE ON SAX.

SO COME JOIN THE PARTY FROM 9PM IT'S GOING TO BE HUGE!!!

That's the sadest thing I've heard in ages. Not just that Liquid is closing, and I don't feel as though I properly said goodbye when I was last in the Tron, but that I also miss the celebrations!

I'm sure that the lovely folk of Hamilton will give it the send off it deserves. Party hard guys.

hmmmm 4 clubs in one week??? Yeah I would be keen to know what else has closed aswell???

A number of pub's/clubs have changed hands in the past week, very coincidental & not related at all, many of the deal's including the Liquid Lounge sale have been in negotiation for a longtime.

I won't mention the other bar's i know about as the info might still be sensitive at this time.

Well here's hoping the new owner of at least one of these establishments will be partial to a little drum and bass every now and then. Yes I'm a broken record and keep going on about it, but bloody hell a little bit of diversity wouldn't kill anyone.
