well i for one am a big gatecrasher fan, yet i want to see lisa lashes, missed out last time because of u lemon, but yeah i've decided to go to both. it pisses me off though cause if it's not in town then it's going to be one expensive night having to taxi out for her set, then come back for gatecrasher. but oh well, i will get the best of both worlds =)

Lisa has been here b4, and yes i would have to say her performance was the one of the best i have seen in this country, #2 behind Tiesto.
Now if Armin is anything like Tiesto then i would have to say GC, what with a support crew of Scott Bond + Tall Pall that is easily the best all round trance lineup ever in NZ.
Last time i saw Scott Bond he ripped the roof off the melbourne docks with 20,000 people screaming for more at GC Easter 2000.
I'm fully torn, I love Tall Paul but at the same time I wanna see what all the Lisa hype is about! Why do promoters do this shit?! Might just leave it up to the boys to make the choice for me, 'cuz this is just too difficult a call to make! Whatchu reckon Moomoo?

e) it was one of my best nights ever at the time, but since then i have seen a lot of way better dj's, and had better nights.
f) i don't need to be seen going to both. and i'd rather have the whole night at gatecrasher than waste my time going between them. i've missed far too many internationals in the past, after paying to see them, and i'm not going to miss armin.

I think your the one looking like the fool bad dog, OGA weren't the first promotor's to have no shows and they wont be the last, people who have been to there gigs for the last 2-3 years know they have a history of delevering good events.
But anyway i'm definatly off to GC simply to see Armin, after seeing Tiesto and then Ferry last week I wouldn't miss seeing the other top 3 trance dj.

well i was looking under events the other day and it said that they'd moved tidy trax to the saturday. but then it disappeared,hmmmmmmm. i was thinking since my last post and ive decided i love my trance way too much so gatecrasher u have all of my attention now. lashes can wait for another year, im sure she'll be back.

Why do promoters do this to us? I don't want to choose between TT and GC! I thought one of the ideals of the dance culture is that we could all just get along. There are sooooo many non-eventful weekends in NZ and yet it's as if promoters purposely plan dance events on the same night to compete against each other.
Ferry was wicked agreed - but him & Lisa are two totally different dj's. The thing for me with Lisa is that she was an amazing performer all round. Her mixing was perfect and her crowd rapor was brilliant she had all of us eating out of the palm of her hand!

Ellerslie is a wicked venue i must say. After God's Kitchen which totally went off i reckon it is the best dance venue in Auckland. It is awesome to come down the escalators and see everyone goin hard on the main floor. Cant wait, Tidy Trax should be huge.

Well basically it is a tough decision on what event to got too.
I personally want to go to GC as Tall Paul, Scott Bond, Armin sure do rock the party, some people need to listen to some CD's of Scott Bond, i heard him in Melbourne and needless to say the roof sure did come off. But on teh other hand i have heard Lisa Lashes, she is good and i had a great time last year but i would be lookin more forward to Paul Glazby, he is crazy. He plays one of the most hardest fastest sets i have heard. so i think to solve this problem i am going to simply have to get two tickets
thats true Michael, before people start jumping at GC saying how Lashes over rides GC she is in fact playing at Gatecrasher Summer Sound System in Melbourne, wish i was there, it will be heaps better than here. Melbourne Tennis Centre over 20,000 people, over 16 hours of non stop music. Nice
