Lancer GSR fuel economy

The newer shape (95+) Lancer turbo GSR models, how are they on gas (now they're obviously not going to be super efficient!) We are talking a stock standard car, manual, anyone have good/bad feedback on fuel economy?

my mate used to have one and he said they did about 4-500 kms to a tank. at todays prices im picking about $80-90 fill up.

Consumption is 13l/100km approx which is ok for a turbo

How does this compare to consumption figures for the various EVOs? if anyone has standard figures for these would be much appreciated also

An EVO is around 15l/100km, they are 2.0 turbo and higher compression. With todays fuel prices anything over 10l/100km is really going to hurt the pocket

that is good value. I have a primera (2l) and it has worse fuel economy than that. supposedly the engine is in good working order too.
