krk monitors

im looking for a new pair of monitors, and are after the krk rokit 5s or 6s.

but whats the difference between these,



and these?



they are both rokit 5's??

i think that the square ones are dicontinued, but i like the look of them alot better and would rather get those.

haha yeah i should have asked can you still get the first ones, but i gues the curved ones dont look that badd.

i was looking at the alesis m1s, but after hearing the krks last night, im swaying towards those

soo i went in to the rockshop, they didnt have the 8's on display but compared the 6's to a few other monitors and the krks were definatly the clearest..

so i bought a pair of rokit 8s.. just got to wait for them to come from logistics to the store

Should be overnight delivery, but its not, and have to wait until monday or tuesday

ohh just a quick question for anyone that can answer it.. if ive got my right and left xlr going straight to my two monitors. how would i go about hooking up a sub into that?

Does the sub not have an in and an out.

my mixer has xlr output and they are going to my new monitors xlr input. how do i incorparate a sub into that?

Many subwoofers intended for use in a monitoring system have built-in crossovers.

So rather than running cables form your mixer to your monitors and sub separately, you plug the master/booth outs from your mixer into the sub and then plug the outputs from the sub's crossover into the monitors.
