KOSHEEN - BDO 2002?

I read a rumour that Kosheen will be taking over the bill for Faithless @ BDO 2002.

Now it might be worth spending $90 to see Kosheen, NOFX and J5.

Anyone know if they'll do a seperate gig?

She does sound a bit depressing sometimes to hear. "Sucide...SUICIDE..." Still a dope track though.

Is she the same vocalist for Breakbeat Era? They sound similar.

well for starters they were already well popular with the dnb crowd, although many people disliked hide U for its sheer repeativness, thewn they followed up with Suicide which in my opinion was the better track, months go by and some they decide to sell out and make a few dollars by having a few trance and houe mixes down by sister bliss and associated trance wankers, no question is IMO Midnite by future cut is by far a better tune but we havin't seen them selling the rights to some dodgy trance producer have we? theres not too many people that still respect kosheen as producers, i think it was lost when people saw the video to hide u with decoder and substance acting like naff twits jumping aorund with guitars!?? and if that wasn't enuff they did it on TOTP as well....

Well apparently the story goes that that Stephanie K + John Creamer mix was done as a bootleg, made it big then they asked if they could release it, but Kosheen said 'naaaa fuck ya' cause they thought it was naff, so the prog geezas released it anyway with their own vocalist, then kosheen saw what kinda cash was made then Darren though 'yeah wouldn't mind a new car etc etc' and so they released it...........

it's a shite remix anyway.

To be totally honest I think Kosheen come into consideration when you DON'T think of them as a Drum'n'Bass outfit. Hide U falls just outside D'n'B, more a kind of mutant 2-step . . . .

They've got some decent tunes in there on Resist, ones you won't hear on the dancefloor. Bristol is noted for more than just DnB after all

No Faithless @ BDO due to one of the members being in a car accident. All gigs (including BDO) have been postponed till March 2002 at the earliest.

While Kosheen may have sold out, judging from the form of Decoder's track (w/Tech Itch) on the "23 degrees from vertical" album, things are pretty safe for him in his own right... ~!
