Has anyone else listened to Kaskade's new album Strobelite Seduction and, like me, felt a bit bemused by the end of it? It sounds remarkably un-Kaskade to me with long slow melodies and singing in every single track... reminds me of trance music in the early 2000's.
Maybe I'm just expecting too much from the man, sure he's entitled to choose his own musical direction but it's a step backwards if you ask me - nothing like the smooth 'n funky beats he's been known for in the past.
I for one was really keen to hear he was coming to Auckland later this month, however I'm now questioning whether it'll be worth it if all I'm going to hear is drab crap.
Penny for your thoughts anyone?
