He's been living in portugal for a quite a while now mate.

Peaches and Simplicity are both tight tracks.

Def worth checking this guy out...i recall his set at the very last gathering was wicked.

What year was the mix gig?

would have been the same year Kasey did his Balance cd...... hold on..... released Dec 2001..... so gig was in 2002 some time!!

have been tossing up this or Danny Howells and due to D.H. being at the Studio am leaning more to this gig.... and the strange thing is..... Coherent used to be MIX so......

Looking forward to this. Kasey Taylor is right up my alley. Always loved the Vapour releases too. One of the best up front prog labels.

Yeah Vapour is a great label. Think I own every vapour release on vinyl up until about 2006 when I started going digital. Most of their releases were proper Chugging Proggy Prog done right.

i thinks one of the last records i bought was vapor as well. the new digitl sub lambel is mean as too.

True that was a phat gig, good times. So if he is playing the same style who would the support djs be?? Maybe Rob W to open, Rohann is also playing a chuggy dark style these days...

Mix gig wouldve been round the same time then...that style of progressive works amazingly well outdoors and that main zone at the gathering was HUGE...

Nice... at Kasey's first gig he drank a bottle of Sambuca.. man, that guy can drink.. and still play tunes like the clappers.

No but Im playing prog and techno later. Emerson plays shit the progsters love as well.

That's the problem with that style of techno, gets boring and monotonous after a while. I enjoyed it though, he definitely dropped some mean tunes.

Yeah from the little i saw it was good without being great.

I thought his set as a whole was bloody great. He even played some prog my goodness!

Pity the gigs werent a bit busier.

It was a lot busier than phonique if that's what you are referring too. Could have been a little busier but not a bad turnout.
