Yeah the main problem we're having is we're fully booked for quite a while so just trying to find a date! Working on it though.

There's also talk of an old-school / revision night featuring jungle, tech-step, vintage jump-up etc. As per above it's a matter of locking down a date with a heavily booked Fu though.

Hmmm, so long as there is a Jungle night that's dedicated solely to Jungle riddims thank you please.

Yeah like Grinder says, it's just about finding a date to do it. We're fully booked in both rooms until the end of August at this stage!

How about planning well ahead and picking up Remarc on his Australia/New Zealand tour in Dec?

The above is the best idea I have heard in aaages, Remarc is one of the mighty and original Kings of the Jungle, if you have not heard of Remarc you should be googlin right now buddy! I don't come on Biggie enough but what a way to kick of the old propa jungle nights, and get some of the fyah running through our bloods again.

yeah and as MC Gooch said , purely JUNGLE riddims thanks, there's alot of us that have had enough of tech-step 'whatever you name it's hidden under' etc, I even hear it at liquid recreation nights WTF? it really puts ya off going out i ya into propa beats and with such a small city it's easy to lose a cool scene very quickly which we have. so lets bring it back people.....

yeah agreed, although i was actually referring to the original TECH-STEP sound that mutated directly from jungle in the mid-late '90s, eg. nico, trace, ed rush, boymerang etc

fair comment, i still file all those artists under jungle (well during this period anyway) i just get scared whenever i hear the 'tech' moniker.
lets hope we have some good quality nights ahead of us this summer starting with REMARC!!! PLEASE!!! lol
