Journey is set to bring the all ages scene a new dance experience. www.enlightened.co.nz opens the doors of Kiss on December 11 for the first time to the all ages scene to show you what K’rd is made of. A night of hard beats, awesome sound and lighting, Auckland's best all Age DJs and a perfect location will ensure this will be a truely awesome night.

it's pretty cool when it goes off. bottom dance floor is pretty small though.
30 bux too steep for me. rather go on a normal night

yeah, the 30$ is probably a bit too much, considering 'student povity' and all. But im going to go anyway... should be something a bit different (maybe?) and ya never know it could be really really good! =D

Not that it matters ... but its not like KISS will make any substanial money off the bar that night ... so they've got to make money somehow ... thus the $30 charge.

i realise the 30 is to cover the mass crowds they pull in on a weekly basis that consist of the 18+ group. but what kid wants to pay 30 just to go to kiss. mmmm. i might aswell go across the road to staircase for 10 or whatever it is

Well fuck it, im going. Supporting Sarah- the "15 year old chick". And anyways its a RAVE and what else is their to do on a tuesday night ? And 30 bucks is a bit steep, but fuck it, ull get over it in a week anyways!

I'm Sarah - Sez to my friends. I'm 16, not 15. No offence, but why do you think I'm DJing - cos I'm real bad at *sarcastic tone*. Nah, like paris said, cos I can. I thought up Journey with some help and inspiration from good friends. The company started to put on Journey is enlightened.co.nz. Enlightened was started by a couple of clubbers (eg: me!) who saw something in the all-ages scene - our goal is to help it grow to it's potential, to be the best it can be. That is what Journey is all about. It has NOT been easy, but "SOMEONE needs to recognize what the all agers deserve!" I thought, so Enlightened was started and we provided. Yeah, some think $30 is a lot, but most of the people who think that are either people who aren't THAT committed to the scene or those who can go to KISS in the weekends (R18ers). If you are really dedicated to the scene and you wish to accept the wicked night you deserve, then buy a ticket, bring your mates, take the Journey!

Quit ya whining and show your support, cos believe me, this whole thing hasn't been all that simple. Who thinks it was easy to convince KISS to do this? Who thinks when they finally agreed, they just handed the venue over for peanuts? Who thinks it costed not a cent to get designed, then print thousands of 2-sided colour flyers, get a web site and someone to design it, get a competition on Channel Z, aswell as a myriad of other things to entertain you guys and other random needs? So, yeah, $30 is a few hours work, but when my partner and I started thinking about what Journey should be, we decided that the all age ravers deserve a big event with great DJ's, a venue they've never been allowed in to and all round, a night that will be remembered and talked about and talked about and talked about! Please show your support - I've been in a few binds with $, not just for events, every damned weekend too! But I still make it every weekend cos I'm big on supporting the scene. Help Enlightened to fulfill the potential of the all ages scene. Luv Sez.

yay, just got a text message about this, I can smell a good night already!! If you get that message, pass it on, the more people the better. Not sure who said it, but the price tag does actually ensure no 'undesireable elements' attend. No-one is going to pay $30 just to cause some shit.
