Im looking to move to london in 4 weeks and require a job for three months

anyone have any ideas on where to loook

London is HUGE man, where you look all depends on what sort of work you do... there is like a million recruitment agencies over here from IT to construction to nurses to general admin and office staff to... to... to... anything you could name...

Are you moving there for good? Or just for an experience?

If you are here short term then jobs like working in a pub are easy to get and it can also provide a roof over youre head - wages are crap though but at least you won't any expenses.

If you have a trade theres a lot of electrical / building / plumbing work and the money is good.

A good start is to jump on the job websites- www.monster.co.uk. / www.totaljobs.com / www.fish4.co.uk ? www.tntmagazine.co.uk
It lists jobs available and agency contact details.
There are so many agencies depending on what line of work they do, any specialised areas?
The following are a few agencies for general employment, I guess if you go www ( whatever the agency). co.uk it should bring up a website.
Agencies as follows- TMP, Manpower, Select, Reed, Kelly Services etc

yeha i hear good things about the monster.co.uk website a few of my friends found jobs there when they went to london

prob on eof the easiest places in london to get a pub job is picadilli square,you'll find theres a lot of kiwis and aussies in that area to,its funny cause on the other side of the world its amazing how u run into ppl u know

Does anyone know what the cash job situation is like over there? Going over for a couple of months in 19 days (and counting) and can't get a work visa (too damn old)

Thanks very much guys. Mo,ster looks good and am getting onto it now. Starting to pack up and leave France so getting a bit sad. Having to leave my girlfirend also which is really tough.

Ive been in France now since January and off to London till late August and then to Hungary till xmas and then who knows. Visiting alot of Spain and south of france in July when the sun really shines. Hope to also get to greece. Creamfields August 23rd - excited!!!!
