Hello,
Could anybody tell me the diffences of golf clubs between Japanese version and US version?
I bought a Taylormade R7 CGB MAX 3 woods, 8 irons, 1 putter and 1 bag in a total of $ 2635.00 from www.golforderonline.com. The customer said they are Japanese version which is more expensive than US version. But what’s the difference between them and why the Japanese version is more expensive than the ones in US?
Thank you!

Japanese ones are made for people with smaller hands.

Im not sure if gummi was joking or not but his comment may well be accurate. Its possible the shafts of the Jap version are shorter and made from graphite to suit the strength-clubhead speed and size of *typically smaller* asian golfers

His comment although trying to be funny is correct.

Lighter and shorter shafts.

Softer flex..

In general, Japanese golfers have slower swing speeds and play less often than their U.S. counterparts. This has allowed U.S. companies to make even hotter, thinner driver faces for their Japan-only products. Since the golfers using these drivers have slower swing speeds, they're less likely to cave in an ultrathin driver face. And since they play less often, there's less chance of those ultrathin faces wearing out too quickly.
