really anywhere that has regular weekly hiphop
gigs except perhaps Safari Lounge on a weds
night (Ponsonby Rd).
Fu bar & Galatos have good one off parties now
and then but generally you have to wade thru all
the bollocks before a decent hiphop night
comes up

FRISK is a pessimist. Define a good hip-hop nite from last year? I haven't been in A to the K this year but i'd like to hear what you found to be enjoyable.

Sometimes its not about the club, more like the company.

Although djs selection and the bar selection play a major part in making or breaking a good nite for me.

these days. I also don't like the D & B crossover
shit that some clubs try and fuse into the hip
hop nights . Just the straight up bangin hiphop
is more my steez.

DnB and Hip Hop is a really popular combination here. 33-45, dawnraid vs subtronix etc. are always pretty packed.

Sir vere is a totall God for everything he's done for HH exposure in NZ, we're lucky he calls Aotearoa home.
33/45 is nusually pretty good, it's not pure, it's RnB cross over, and all the DJ's have really different styles, but it doesn't cause pain.
Did anyone catch 'beat fix' @ WBC a couple of months ago when Sir Vere released?
