Final to be played in Hamilton... Waikato will have the the home advantage, but I think Auckland are playing well enough to win it, despite Waikato having only having lost one game this year. Auckland has a good team and they'll continue to develop into a better team in years to come. I think Graham Henry has added the extra impetus to get Auckland through to the finals.

My pick is Auckland...

Go Auckland!
[quote]
actually hate to be a picky barsted, but is Waikato vs Auckland Razz (wai has home advantage there name goes 1st Razz)

Auckland to win by 8 Smile

[quote]
Auckland by more than 10 Smile
[quote]
I think the team that scores the most points will win,

seriously both teams have played well this year, & both beaten canterbury........

waikato to win by 8 or less
[quote]
Waikato

it will be fucking close thou but i think the mooloo men have more heart to take it
[quote]
I pick Auckland by about 10. They played the best game I've seen from an auckland team in years against canterbury. They seem to be back to bnear their best, which is great for NZ rugby. Their defence was outstanding and Waikato will struggle to score against them, ven with randall and reihana. Expect auckland to be the top province in NZ in a few years time. If that happens the AB's will be the top team in the world as well.

Its Graham Henry no Questions asked thats making Auckland the way they are

if we want the All Blacks to win then he must coach them

its as simple as that.

and on that note

hahahahahahahahah fuck u cunturbury like i said right from the start no farking chance what so eva.

auckland, definitely... even tho its bein played at Stadium Waikato

If Auckland play like last Friday, they will win. But never write off Waikato, they have the home advantage. What day/time is kick-off?
[quote]
What happened to Counties Forest?
[quote]
This is actually the first ever NPC final between the two teams too. So it should be interesting.
[quote]
The game is already sold out, heard it on the radio, should be a beauty, go Auckland!!!
[quote]
GO AUCKLAND!!!!!!!
[quote]
I agree Very Happy
[quote]
Waikato always play well at home. Reckon Auckland have been playing well enought this year to win in Hamilton 2night thou.
[quote]
mooolooooooo!
[quote]
Auckland won! 40-21 Another fine effort against a top team.
[quote]
Auckland deserved to win tonight, they outplayed Waikato.

Taine Randell as All Black captain is good IMO!
[quote]
Poor Reuben though...he only lost one game as All Black captain didn't he?
[quote]
???? Thats Bullshit Fency, I cant believe they dropped Reuben Thorn, that decision lacks any logic, it goes to show how incompetant those are in charge of new zealand rugby selection processes.

I know there is no excuse for CAnterbury loosing, I agree they were out played, however it seems that the memebers of the team were tired and overplayed and needed more rest. Yes Auckland played well, but to drop Reuben thorn like that is complete crap.
[quote]
yeap what a game, waikato were totally outplayed from the first half, one downside was that spencers goal kicking was a shocker.
[quote]
shot Auckland!
[quote]
Final score 40-28 Fency Very Happy
[quote]
Oops typo - Razz yeah 40-28

Reuben is injured actually, hence he won't be selected at all. But Taine Randell will have a chance to reclaim the captaincy for the world cup next year if this UK tour goes well.

Nanz - They scoreline wouldn't have been so flattering to Waikato if Spencer would have converted all those kicks...it should have been 50+ points
[quote]
lol at everyone getting annoyed at Thorne being dropped when he was injured.

Graham Henrys influence is clear in the way Auckland play. Fantastic defence, technically very good. Hopefully he will get back to the top level of coaching in NZ asap.
[quote]
without otago in the and winning the finals....... rugby was the winner on the day
[quote]
jah...well done...u beat me by 10 points....

[quote]
We both did pretty well. If only I was sensible enough to put some money on a few of my picks I'd have done quite nicely.
