Issues with Biggie and the web

Not sure what is causing this.

The menu at the top of biggie (News, Whats On, Interaction etc), is doing weird stuff. The drop downs form a list up the left hand side of the page above the top of the page. Makes surfing frustrating.

I'm using IE6

Also does anyone know a good adware/spyware clean up app for free?

Get adaware www.lavasoftusa.com and spybot search and destroy (search google).

That was a bit brief, so:

You need to run them both, neither is comprehensive so one will catch stuff the other didn't. You should run them, reboot, and run them again to be most effective.

Once you've done that, see if the menu problem persists and someone might be able to help further

Or you might be on a mac - Have had some issues with that before.

Na am on an IBM laptop problem only appeared like 4 days ago.

yeah, would be nice if biggie fixed their drop downs so they were standards compliant too

I don't care if they're standards compliant, they just have to work.

Weve been looking into this recently hopefully it will be fixed up shortly but we have a few issues we are working on atm so i have no idea what time frame we are looking at.

That happens to me also, but only when I use a small browser window,
If it's happening in your fullscreen browser window then maybe it's
your display setting (800X600), try 1024X768 if poss. <shrugs>

The drop downs DO NOT work under firefox/mozilla browers, the javascript that is driving them is not compatabile with firefox/mozilla.........

Yeah, theres an issue using the menus with Mozilla. This is known, it bugs me, but I guess other take priority at the moment.

There is some wiiiiiiierd shit going on on my friends PC - its like the screen is 1 cm higher than the graphics adaptor recognises. No matter what you do, you see a 1cm strip of the windows desktop at the top of her monitor when you are using IE or Office or whatever...

sounds like a prob with teh scan on the monitor...
or maybe she needs new video card to go with the monitor?
