Interesting reading about a group of border police who have been vandalising homes, stealing money, abusing Palestinians and who are suspected of beating a palestinian to death last year.
Another example of how Israel promote peace I guess.
yes i completly agree anyone who commits such crimes should be arrested and face the legal process. He should be judged innocent until proven guilty. Better than usual summery execution by israel. Saddened to see arafat blocking the disarmament of the fatah movement which the prime minister is trying to do. I think arafat should completly step down.
Trapper I'm not against the arrests at all. It's a big concern though if racist behaviour and violence is entrenched in some of these border police units.
It was also a quiet dig at anyone who thinks that Israel is 100% pro peace and Palestine is entirely resposnible for the conflict.
Only a fool would believe every Isreali is pro peace, many of the orthodox jews hate the arabs with a passion and theres crooks in every society. What marks a society is what heppens to those people who break the law.
Yeah chopper its kind of hypocritical. The ultra orthodox jews are probably the most extreme in their points of view with respect to the Palestinian uprising and separate statehood etc. That's not to say that there aren't arabs who equally hate Jews.
