Dnb is most like heavy metal than any other dance music and hence attracts a lot of old metalheads. Who cares what they look like? If they're good people, thats all that matters.

giznad, it depends what your definition of 'westie' is..
The word is overused and misconstrued. One thing you can't deny is that there is more 'white trash' in the trance scene than dnb. Just look at some of the photos (when they come back up)
Check out the dnb photos and you'll find a different sort of crowd with lots of different kinds of people.. tho mostly a younger skating influenced bunch.

It all depends on what you define as a bogan/westie anyways. I used to listen to a lot of punk/hardcore/deathcore back in the day, but that doesn't nessecarily make me a bogan or a munter for that matter. Just because I'm into the darker side of things in general, it doesn't mean I'm gonna crank out the Lion Red, I leave that to my flatmates *laughs*
Its intresting tho, because a lot of the people I've talked to in the scene are ex punks and I've met up again with a lot of people I havn't seen in a while that I used to hang out with in the hardcore scene. At least neither scene has the muscle shirts-off dicks around the place.
