I had no idea there was no landscape keyboard, that would have been a major downer for me. Good to see it's fixed.

Have you used an iphone much? the size of the keyboard doesnt matter, you just jab your big fingers in its general direction and it figures it out.

Should be out about 7pm NZT? Cant wait to see the push apps, i've been on the AIM dev preview for a week, so sweet, bye bye txt messaging!

Probably not enough to get used to it properly, but my thumbs are impossibly big and it's usually painfully error prone.

Does it come out today?

i love the games on there

but it's so expensive
[quote]
it's vastly cheaper than any of the comparable smartphones? Confused

Andrew: could be up your alley?

iPhone > wifi > laptop > trigger cable > Canon DSLR

Advantages over conventional radio trigger is you have full control over the camera settings, and you get image review on the iPhone screen.

Disadvantage is you have to have the laptop in there, so use case is limited.

O PLZ Neutral How often do you use copy & paste on your mobile.

bullshit.

Copying and pasting phone numbers from address book into text messages is about the only time I ever use it.

My existing O2 contract is up in a few days and I could get an iPhone 3G for free. I'm undecided as I'm quite happy with my Nokia 6220 Classic - S60, A-GPS, Nokia Maps (being able to preload countries onto the memory card before going on holiday = brilliant), 5MP camera, plus it's plastic and bounces, so I can drop it and it doesn't break, which happened at least twice while I was away on holiday. An iPhone wouldn't have fared so well. Having a better browser & WiFi would be definitely beneficial though, plus of course unlimited data on O2 too. N95 8GB is another option but that's 2+ years old now. Boring.

decisions decisions... Confused

(i'll probably just go for the iphone Laughing )
