I was overseas in London at the time, and never got to see him before he died. The true king of hard dance, alive or dead, and was looked up to by DJs the world over in heaps of genres.

Yep,the overseas terminal was one of the best gigs in welly and I sympathize with those who missed out.We put alot of effort into that weekend let me tell you.Friday nite had basement jaxx downstairs with an array of jackin house djs and upstairs we were well and truly blessed with Dj sneak and doc martin doing crazy shit with the decks. Then the next nite, well what can I say?A truly wicked nite, and very unfortunate that the majority of welly HH/HT peeps werent there to appreciate the man who bridged the gap between house and hardbag.I imagine the name means very little to anyone outside the harder dj circle. THATS HOW TDV WILL BE REMEMBERED.

That gig was fucken wicked. I had never heard of Hardhouse or Tony De Vit at the time, but I'm now so thankful I managed to see the man himself.
