Infomercials you love or hate?

I loved that one where some NZer was trying to sell this piece of elastic that you used as resistance trying and as a skipping rope. Wasn\'t on much but it was addictive as. And so cheaply filmed... in his back yard.

Anyone else got a favourite or an infomercial you just can\'t stand? Has anyone brought anything from an infomercial?

I was well roped in by the ad for that rotisserie grill/toaster oven/spit roast thingy. It is so completley textbook it\'s hilarious! Simply add A) one softly spoken old guy who almost has you convinced he is the inventor B) numerous examples of how expensive and inconvienent \'other\' ovens are C) a wide variety of meal options [14 lamb chops, this whole 16 pound turkey, 4 cornish game hens, 12 burger patties, 24 frankfurters, this 6 pound rib roast, 3 whole trout, etc etc], D) Several suitably amazed \'professional\' chefs E) a few tesimonials and finally F) \'only 8 easy payment.

The other good one is for \'Stainerator\'. I really dig the dudes cardigan, and does the mad guy remind anyone of the cop from \'Go\'...\"you\'re trying to sell us Amway!?!? No, it\'s Confederated Products, it\'s a completly different class of products....\"
