Well, two in a row now for Hamilton.

Alonso looked like he may well take it during the middle stint, especially with traffic being an issue.

Looked like Alonso may have had more pace there as well, never very far away from Lewis.

I would love to see these two fight it out over the last few races of the season with the constructors trophy not in doubt so we can really see them race each other.

Wait until Ferrari win a couple in a row soon and all the media will be saying "McLaren self destructs" or similar.

Best money still on Alonso for the title. Hamilton hasn't had his wake-up knock yet or another track he really can't master (since getting up to speed after the first few races). Alonso has had gremlins, traffic and safety car problems and has still earned plenty of points in those races..

As I've said tons of times before, it's how you manage to scrape the points back when everything is against you that shows how good you are. Alonso is the master of this - no-one can come close. In that respect he has been the Schumy of the last few seasons.

Well Alonso has had the worse run of positions and luck and is only 10 points behind, the same total he won by last year, so we have a long way to go.

Ferrari were never really going to be too suited to these tracks, they have the longer wheel base, and are getting used to that.

Monaco, notoriously windy, Canada, straights, but also hairpins and chicanes, no long fast corners, Indy, mickey mouse infield.

I'll be interested to see how they go at France, where they have been strong in recent years, France and UK may swing more in Ferrari's direction. We shall see.

Haven't they won every single US GP by miles?Razz

They actually tend to do very well at those sorts of tracks... I'm not so sure the long wheel-base is hurting them as much as people would think. I think everyone else has finally got their suspension geometry right for the tires so Ferrari's advantage in that area is now over. Likewise, they have had some gremlins.

Kimi, as always, totally lackluster when the car isn't exactly to his liking. He was like this at McLaren and really shows his lack of adaptability. Massa is doing better in this department.

Yeah, Ferrari have won five of the last six GPs there. Pole position in five of the last six also.

Yes they have.

But they haven't won any of them in a long wheelbase zero keel car. Wink
