So, my girlfriend is heading to Thailand in December to meet some friends and spend 3 months traveling. I have a friend's wedding late December so I'll come join her first week of Jan, and spend 2 months mooching around until school starts up again in March.
Question is, where should we go? I've already been to every country in South East Asia, but wouldn't mind checking out Southern Laos as I didn't get there last time I went ... or maybe the Perenthian Islands in Malaysia.
The other option is my girlfriend could fly out of Bangkok in Jan and meet me somewhere else - Nepal maybe?
Inspire me! Where should I go? Somewhere close to Thailand, in South East Asia or within a few hours flying from Bangkok would work the best.
