Go away to uni... and enjoy a gap year travelling after high school.

I went straight into fulltime work after school and studied extramurally...I missed out on the uni party culture and OE travel while young cos I took myself too seriously and liked having money.

I still take things too seriously as my post shows..heh.

I'd say to myself, don't drive all your friends out to the beach when you only just got your restricted, it will not end well. Don't dawg your best friends ex, it was never gonna end well. Keep playing sport, you were actually quite a good cricketer and if you'd stuck with it, who knows where you woulda ended up.

2. Go to uni, and study something technical (i.e. difficult) instead of something easy and fluffy that will give you absolutely no advantage over someone who didnt even bother going to uni.

I think you can definetly do very well to stay off pot i your early/school years. (id guess 20 but putting a number on it seems silly) .... Im not convinced light use after that would make a heck of alot of difference. Dunno bout you guys but Im MORE motivated when Im blazed these days. Exercising/housework/plotting etc

Okay I'll have a go...
• Don't get caught up in self concious need to be slightly different just so you don't look like some sheep if doing so means you don't have fun. People don't notice (especially in your teens) that you are a lame fucking sheep but they do notice if you are a stick in the mud and they don't understand why. That said, keep sticking to your beliefs, that's cool.

• Save for everything you want first and pay for it with cash. Save even when you have nothing to save for because a) you might have a use for the money later and b) having money makes you money without having to even work for it. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT. It's also cool to watch it grow for it's own sake.

• Be more involved - Play a team sport even if you don't like it at first, it has many benefits that you don't yet understand. Also, ask mum for real piano lessons and stop pretending you don't like music wtf kid, you love it.

1) Don't change who you are for anyone. ANYONE!

2) Pay Cash for EVERYTHING (except when you are paying with CC and instantly paying it off of course!)

3)Snowboard more, you are fucking awesome at it and could make a career out of it.

4)you cant eat ghost chips, so don't try.

Yeah I only started using it regularly last year (had it probably 20 times total in my life before that) - and it's been all uphill really On the biggest motivation spurt of my life at the moment.

Some people tend to get really motivated on it. I on the other hand get lazy,unmotivated & anti sociable.. which is why i try only to have it occasionally.

Although, my friends who get motivated from it tend to do it more than the ones who don't. One friend in particular i can think of has to smoke every morning before going to work.. then during work.. then after work before going to the gym.

are people suggesting drugs (well pot in this instance) effect different people in different ways....

1) You have no future as an attacking player, defence may seem boring now but you're much better at it and will come to enjoy it more than that prima donna striker shit.
2) Bursary is much harder than school c, you will not breeze it without doing homework and study. This applies exponentially to university. Try dedicating at least half as much time to study/homework as you will do to practising guitar.
3) Assuming it still happens if I take the above advice, there will be a night in early 2006 where your flatmate will introduce to a girl at a party. RUN. LIKE. FUCK.
