IE using 180,000K?

Ws posting and noticed my PC seemed to be running slow. This had been happening a bit lately so opened Task Manager and saw CPU Usage was running at 83% and it seems its IE's doing. Only had biggie open (and several poker games but that didnt seem to be using tooo much)

Can anybody shed some light? Is it updatimng or something?

What's the 180,000K in reference too? Memory usage? 180Mb is pretty normal for a browser.

CPU usage is another kettle of fish and not related to memory usage at all really. What happens when you close IE? Does the CPU usage go down? What about if you view other sites? Something without flash banner ads for example.

It's the Russians for sure.

Actually....that Our House banner on this site was totally eating my CPU while I was on the phone before. I'd recommend using some kind of ad blocker if it's really causing you a problem.

biggie is a very CPU intensive website...
