well, nowhere... I've already started a new job (which I wasn't meant to start before my PhD was awarded, but they let me start anyway)... so I'll carry on working this job until my contract runs out.

you do realise that surgeons used to also cut your hair in the olden days...barber surgeons as they were known.

but then there was a bit of a divide back then between surgery and 'medicine'. which i guess is still kinda present to an extent once you get to that stage of being able to go the surgical route.
