i need to download some voice samples

Can anyone recommend a site to do this? (free is best....)

What sort? As in, vocal hooks and the like?

Spoken word?

Well, ive been asked to put together some little samples for a sports tournament. Basically a bunch of announcements like "games start now", "5 minutes to go" etc etc.
And i thought if i splice together a bunch of different samples and shit and maybe bung a few effects in there it could be quite cool.....

So really i need spoken word, but only specific words i guess.....

Even if you have a shotty mic, you might as well give it a go yourself. Especially if you're going to chuck FX on them...

Apart from that the next best thing would be a txt to speech software.. spruce them up a little and you'll be away laughing. They always work magic when it comes to announcements.

you can rip audio straight from youtube. just drop the url in. shitty quality but its a shit load easier to find samples your looking for on youtube
