Hey all

Just to let ya know the next Hulla is on Saturday March 2 @ Vic/Massey University, Wellington (Tasman Street entrance). Its a part of Vic & Massey orientation so should be a crazy one.

My set is confirmed for 10:30-12:30 in the Hard House Zone, so you'll have to get ya shit together early if you want to catch me joining some noises together - hehe Wink

Ohhh no shit!!!

Looks like the Fevah / Hullabaloo promoters have decided not to clash with one another this time and make it the hell weekend for Wellington!

Friday 1st March: Fevah @ Startlight Ballroom
Saturday 2nd March: Hullabaloo @ Vic/Massey Uni

Awesome news!

Any acts confirmed apart from yourself Leigh?
Or is Jak keeping things hush hush again?

Plus TwoTribes and the Ironman....they should change the dates Sad
[quote]
Kitty told me she's playing, nice one!! Smile
[quote]
Why the hell does Jack do this??? Putting it on the same weekend as Fevah...and this time even worse with Two Tribes and a good percentage of the Wellington clubbers out of town?

Although I guess its quite a different crowd, Hullabaloo being aimed at a much lower age group/experience level...but still...
[quote]
Good point Mnemonik.
[quote]
Hullabaloo at a new venue is always worth alook
[quote]
I think you'll find the Jak Wild actually likes going up against other big parties like Fevah!
[quote]
Interesting hes still doing them really.

I hear hes the new manager of Sinners now, thought he would have enough on his plate...
[quote]
Fitzy! Welcome to the party buddy!

Nothing like a bit of competition in Wellington...
I thought that Hullabaloo @ Wgtn Town hall was the best yet and that was on the same night as Skol @ Fevah... I understand both parties were pretty packed out!
[quote]
Jak Wild manager of Sinners your joking. Your not thinking of another Jak are you Mnemonik?
[quote]
yeah booooooooy, a two nighter!!!!

Pity alot of biggies will be at two tribes that weekend Sad

Anywho, I shall take it upon myself to represent us biggies up front! If only I could scream like sunshine... hmmmmmmmmm maybe not (not very manly) Smile

woooooooohooooooooooo, I love this stuff!!!!!
[quote]
Who Me.....I don't scream do I hehehehehehe

Sorry guys if I do@!!!!!

Yeah Fevah sold out. I had a freebie for Hullabaloo that night and went along for a while. Not a bad party, was a bit put off by the 16 year olds munting out in the brightly lit corridors though Sad.

The last Hullabaloo wasn't impressive at all, seems they forgot to put bass bins in the hardhouse room - either that or the dj turned off the base as the music was pretty much screechy mid and treble Sad And that house room couldnt possibly have fit more than 20 people!

All in all, giving a choice and a bit of competition is a good thing though. Keeps the Fevah boys on their feet Smile
[quote]
Not joking Simplex Wink At least thats what Robbie at Phoenix told me...he was in town a couple of weeks ago apparently.
[quote]
yo baynesy, works a bit slow today so i couldn't
help having a wee play on biggie.

It's a real shame two tribes wasn't a week earlier
or later!
[quote]
Your right Fitzy....

But after doing the Gathering & Checkpoint Point Charlie in the space of a couple of weeks, could you really give a F*** weather you go or not? easpecially when you have a double header down here in Wellington?
[quote]
A double header in our own backyard (welly) sounds
a lot better on the pocket, lot less travel.

[quote]
Shit, I'll miss it as part of Uni orientation too.

Fucking dubmass promoters - talk about déja vu - this double up of events happened late last year as well.

I'm not too worried about missing it, it'll probably be full of drunk, irritating fucked up uni students anyway. But then again - I'm cynical!

I would have liked to see Leigh play though.
[quote]
jak changed his dates to avoid fevah last year and then they changed their dates on him. so i don't blame him if he doesn't bother checking with them anymore. Hullaballoo kicks Fevah anytime inmy book.

nah nick, it's not jack wild, but the jack that is up there was from wellington, not so long ago
