How up to date are we !!!!!

Just popped into Juno and had a peek at all the
latest releases in the UK - very pleasant
surprise as alot of them were in this weeks
shipment at the local store...

What about the kiwi supply

pretty similar, apart from some that seem to never show up here...

Ive seen things on Juno and a week later they are in the stores! Not sure what time-frame though.

we are only 3 days behind things that get released. Of course we miss out on promo releases alot cos we are so little in population. Also certain releases never make it here as there are on obscure or small distributions.

Also sometimes things might take longer as the suplliers tend to take care of their larger world wide customers than lil ole NZ.

Nick -it's quite funny talking about the politics of
missing out on promo releases. the average
vinyl junkie over here not only has that to
contend with but the old store politics - every
shipment day it's classic to see the staff
ferretting away vinyl into marked bags for certain
higher profile DJ's. I guess they've paid there
dues but just once i'd love to leap over the
counter yelling "Gimme Gimme"

each store is different. when we started crims we hated that to hence why we dont bag tunes unless people have specifically ordered them. if people arent gonna do their homework or get off their but to come get the goodies then it's not a stores fault.

we got records delivered in about 8 days after ordering from juno. the time before that was almost twice that tho.
